We created Transparent Imaging by radiologists for radiologists with the vision of providing precise reads and subspecialty expertise for better patient care. We also believe in creating a high-level teleradiology practice that fits into a better work-life balance for our radiologist team—because happier professionals deliver better care.  

Founded in 2019, Transparent Imaging merges our radiology expertise, professional networks, and vision for transforming teleradiology. Today, our team of 100+ professionals feels like a family—and always will.
David Zelman D.O.

Co-Founder, PET and Body Imaging

David Zelman, D.O., is a highly skilled radiologist and co-founder of Transparent Imaging, with specialized expertise in PET/CT imaging and a proven track record in the management of outpatient imaging centers. He earned his undergraduate degree from Touro University and his medical degree from NYCOM. He performed his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and further enhanced his diagnostic capabilities with an MRI fellowship at the University of Maryland. Dr. Zelman began his professional career in private practice, where he played a pivotal role in the operational oversight and management of multiple outpatient imaging centers, demonstrating his commitment to both clinical excellence in PET/CT interpretation and efficient healthcare delivery.

Eric Ledermann D.O., M.B.A.

Co-founder, MSK Radiology

Dr. Eric Ledermann is a highly regarded board-certified radiologist and co-founder of Transparent Imaging, specializing in musculoskeletal imaging and teleradiology. His academic background includes a BS and MBA from the University of South Florida, with clinical training at Maimonides and LICH/SUNY Downstate. A prolific contributor to radiology, Dr. Ledermann has authored peer-reviewed publications, contributed to textbooks, and delivered national lectures at RSNA. His educational exhibits have been recognized with multiple awards.
